Hope, love, and gratitude are right here, waiting to be felt.
Our story
It started over coffee, the way the best decisions usually do. One morning during what we call our "coffee talk," Brooke mentioned a farm for sale just down the road. We pulled up the pictures, started dreaming out loud, and by that afternoon we were walking the land. The moment we stepped onto those four acres, something clicked for both of us. For Nate, it was a quiet pull back to his grandparents' farm, where he spent his childhood working alongside animals and learning what a grounded, unhurried life felt like. For Brooke, it stirred something equally familiar, a nostalgia for growing up in a small town where life was simpler and neighbors were friends. We weren't just falling in love with a property. We were remembering something important. That feeling is exactly what we want to give you. Life moves fast and hits hard, and it's easy to lose touch with the people and moments that matter most. Sage & Silo was built to be a place where that changes, even if just for a weekend. Maybe it stirs a childhood memory you hadn't thought about in years. Maybe it gives a marriage space to breathe, or a family room to reconnect, or a grieving heart something gentle to hold onto. We hope it does all of those things. We hope it reminds you, the way this land reminded us, that hope, love, and gratitude are still right here, waiting to be felt. What we've created is small by design and big on purpose. This is a boutique hobby farm, a lovingly restored collection of two homes, a century old silo, a stable, and an event center tucked together on four intentional acres in Larkspur, Colorado. Come meet our mini donkey, mischievous goats, gloriously funky haired chickens, and our mini Highland cow. These aren't props, they're neighbors, and they have a way of making people smile before they even realize they needed to. Whether you're planning an intimate country wedding, a family reunion, or simply a few quiet days away, we built this place for you. Tiny cabins are coming soon, but the heart of Sage & Silo is already here, and we'd love for you to come feel it.
Sage & Silo Core Values
Genuine Connection
We believe the most important thing in life is the people we share it with. Every corner of Sage & Silo is designed to bring people closer, whether that's a family laughing together in the stable, a couple finding their footing again, or a stranger who leaves feeling less alone. Connection is why we built this place.Rooted Simplicity
There is something powerful about slowing down and getting back to basics. At Sage & Silo, we strip away the noise and offer something refreshingly simple: fresh air, friendly animals, and the freedom to just be present. We believe the simple things are usually the most meaningful things.Nostalgic Joy
This land has a way of taking people somewhere they didn't know they needed to go. For some it's a childhood memory, for others it's the feeling of a simpler time or a loved one no longer here. We honor that by creating an atmosphere that feels familiar, warm, and full of the kind of joy that sneaks up on you..
Heartfelt Hospitality
We don't see guests as customers. We see them as people who trusted us with their time, their celebrations, and sometimes their healing. Every interaction at Sage & Silo is guided by genuine care, gratitude, and the desire to make people feel truly welcomed.Restorative Space
Life is hard, and people arrive here carrying more than their luggage. We take that seriously. Sage & Silo is intentionally designed to be a place of rest and renewal, where the pace slows down, the weight lifts a little, and people leave feeling more like themselves.Purposeful Authenticity
Everything here is real. The farm, the animals, the story behind this place, and the people running it. We don't chase trends or put on a performance. We show up honestly every day, because we believe guests can feel the difference between a place built for profit and a place built with purpose.Gratitude in Everything
We are grateful for this land, for the guests who choose to spend their time here, and for the chance to do something that matters. Gratitude shapes how we treat our animals, how we care for our property, and how we show up for every single person who walks through our gate.Celebration of Life
From intimate weddings to family reunions to a quiet solo weekend, every visit is worth celebrating. We believe ordinary moments can be extraordinary with the right setting, and we take pride in being the backdrop for milestones big and small.
